I have lived the vast majority of my life in Iowa but but one day I would like to move to maybe New York City or Phoenix. Until enough money is earned for that to happen, I will continue to work at the local meat processing plant (Tyson) and try not to procrastinate so much with art and writing.
I have been drawing ever since I could hold a pencil, creating hundreds of characters over the years (all animals) and developing stories for them. My lifelong dream was to create cartoons and I once made a vow to become as famous as Walt Disney. A part of me still wishes for that dream and has realized that it may never come true but it doesn't stop me from creating and developing my characters.
My passion for writing didn't come out until she was in 8th grade. I had written things over the years, mainly for school but I never considered it as a career until I read and fell in love with The Dead Zone by Stephen King.
So how does a horror fanatic begin their writing career in a different genre? Good question and it's not one I'm sure I can answer. One thing is for certain, however,I do enjoy several different genres and I have ideas for all of them.
